2026-2027 - Academic Calendar

All students are considered full-time students.  Students may attend classes during the day, night, or any combination thereof.  The day and night class schedule represents our schedule for all terms.  It is subject to change from term to term, though changes are rare.  The Schedule Legend below shows what each class on the schedule will cover or teach.

The Court Reporting Program follows a Rate of Progression. Students in the machine program follow a three-year progression plan, which specifies the classes and speeds required each term. The voice program is designed to be completed in one year (four terms), with a fifth term allocated for taking and passing state and national exams, depending on test availability. The academic requirements and speeds are also outlined for the voice program.

The Rate of Progression also reflects the cost for each term.  Students are expected to pay for their current term before classes begin, so tuition is paid one term at a time.
