Required Equipment for Machine Students

If you are purchasing a machine straight from Stenograph, be sure to note that the delivery time can be 6 to 8 weeks.  You will need your machine on the first day of class.  There may be a chance that we have a machine you can borrow until yours comes in.  We may or may not have any available.
If you decide to go with any of the other options, I would highly recommend that you let me know so I can help to guide you in making sure you are selecting a machine that is right for you.  We do recommend the following machines:  Luminex CSE or the Wave. 
We do not rent machines.
 
Order the following wide keys from Stenograph:
Wide DZ* Keys - Item Number 38616
If you purchase your machine from a third-party, you will want to make sure that it has the wide keys.  It should be a wide asterisk and wide -DZ.  You can also order the "wide" keys separately and install on writer.  You will see some for sale with the wide keys.

In addition, students will be required to have the latest version of the CaseCATlyst software which is currently 21.  Use the link below for the options of acquiring a machine and software.
