Theory and Class Recordings

Theory and Class Recordings

Tri-Community maintains an extensive library of class recordings from both prior years and the current term. Students are encouraged to utilize dictation from current classes as well as the additional materials available in the library to strengthen their skills.

While many of our Theory classes—both machine and voice—are recorded and posted, these recordings are not a replacement for live class attendance. Theory students are required to attend classes live via Zoom in accordance with the attendance policy in order to maintain enrollment and receive the full benefit of instruction.

We understand that occasional circumstances may arise. With instructor permission, Theory students may view recorded sessions when necessary. However, the primary purpose of the recording library is to provide supplemental dictation practice and opportunities to review workshops and other important instructional content—not to replace live participation.
